Hi everyone! My name is Natalie Robertson, a junior Biology major in the Honors College. My interests include reading, painting, and being in the great outdoors (with the exception of when it’s raining.) Open to any book recommendations if you have them 🙂 I am currently the Fundraising & Outreach Chair of CSA – the Caribbean Student Association – here at Mason. I love watching all kinds of sports but mostly enjoy both college and pro football and hockey. In terms of actually playing sports, I grew up taking karate and ran track throughout high school, then decided to join the women’s rowing team in college.
The course, HIST 390 – The Digital Past, prepares students to use and understand various current and emerging digital tech. Using the context of a history course, it teaches the fundamentals of information technology to explore how tech can augment the ability to consume, process and communicate, and produce information. Students will use this to develop an analysis of a race riot in a U.S. city.
